Sierra de gredos trails

(spain)

Explore the stunning Sierra de Gredos mountain range in central Spain, just 170 kilometers from Madrid. The granite peaks here, including the highest, Almanzor at 2,592 meters, provide a dramatic backdrop for two incredible trail rides: 'Castles of the Gredos Mountains' and 'Gredos to Salamanca.'

These rides take you through a variety of landscapes—lush forests, rugged uplands, and remote stone-built villages—giving you a true taste of rural Spain and its medieval charm.

Your guide, Emilio, knows these trails like the back of his hand. His calm approach and strong bond with his well-trained horses make for a stress-free ride, allowing you to soak in the scenery. Thanks to Gredos’ sunny, dry climate, these rides are available almost year-round.
