Dressage holidays in PROVEnCE studfarm

(france)

In the heart of Provence, just over 30 minutes from Marseille, you'll find an extraordinary stud farm and dressage haven. Enter through elegant iron gates, drive down a tree-lined avenue, and arrive at a beautiful 18th-century style traditional Provence estate set in manicured gardens, complete with a pool guarded by stone lions. Originally focused on Lusitanos, the stud farm now produces world-class dressage horses through the introduction of German warmbloods and Grand Prix stallion crossbreeds. Perhaps one of the most notable success stories comes from world-renowned equestrian artist Alizée Froment, who has showcased their success with her stallions, Sultan and Mistral du Coussoul, both bred here. Guests can enjoy personalized dressage lessons and liberty work, along with luxurious accommodations and warm hospitality in this stunning setting. Non-riders are also welcome to explore the estate and the breathtaking surrounding region.

What a wonderful experience riding well schooled beautiful happy horses. I was taught by Alicia and Ludivine, who are highly knowledgeable, patient and very supportive riding instructors. I came home thinking I really improved my ridding and learned a lot. The accommodation is in a lovely house in a gorgeous setting and delicious food is freshly prepared every day by an excellent chef Gloria. I will definitely come back.” —Irena P.

  • TESTIMONIALS

“I've just completed a week there with a friend for dressage riding. We absolutely loved everything about it. The hospitality was incredible; Alicia is a wonderful host. The horses are stunning - beautifully trained, each with their own character, and all an absolute joy to ride. As someone fairly new to dressage, this was an introduction week for me, and I'm leaving with a much clearer understanding of the discipline, its ability to improve your riding, and the deeper connection it fosters between rider and horse.

One of the highlights for me was the farm tour around the stud, where we got to see the foals, yearlings, and two-year-olds out in the fields - it's such a special place. While we were there, three foals were born, and I'm already missing my morning foal check-ins - they were simply beautiful.

We'll definitely be back: we loved every minute.” —Sally L.

I absolutely loved the lessons and the horses were so wonderful! I loved it so much it's actually difficult to find a highlight because it was all so good!  I've been to a few camps and trips like this before and by far, this was the best one! The accommodation and the food were fabulous as well! I want to make a return trip next year and this time for the week-long stay!
